Terms of Use

The Spore Oracle is operated by The Spore Patch Ltd (trading as The Spore Patch), a private limited company being incorporated in England and Wales with its registered office at 66 Paul Street, London EC2A 4NA. These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of thesporeoracle.world, including the oracle readings, journal shop, membership area and any other services we offer.

The Spore Oracle provides an imaginative oracle experience: mythology, card readings, a digital journal, and a members-only spread chamber. The content is for personal reflection, creative inspiration and spiritual exploration. It is not intended to replace medical, legal, financial, psychological or religious advice.

Some features require an account. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details safe and for any activity that happens under your account. Please use a strong password and do not share your account with others.

You must provide accurate information and be at least 16 years old to create an account or subscribe to the Spiral Circle.

The Spiral Circle is a recurring subscription that unlocks the three-card and five-card spread chambers, saved readings, reading history, the Yearly Reading, the Prompt Journal, the Circle community space and the Private Codex. It is billed at £5 per month or £50 per year through Stripe. Gift subscriptions of 3, 6 or 12 months are also available and do not auto-renew.

• Recurring subscriptions renew automatically (monthly or yearly) unless you cancel.
• You can cancel at any time through the billing portal linked in your account, or by emailing us — we will action your cancellation within 2 working days.
• Payments are handled securely by Stripe. We do not store your card details.
• We do not offer refunds for partial periods you have already started, but you will retain access until the end of your current billing period.
• We may change the membership price or features, but we will give you at least 30 days' notice before any price increase takes effect.
• Gift codes are non-refundable once issued and have no cash value. Unredeemed codes remain valid indefinitely.

The Spore Oracle Journal, Guidebook and any bundles containing them are sold as digital PDF downloads through our on-site Stripe checkout.

Under the UK Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you normally have a 14-day right to cancel a distance purchase. However, for digital content supplied immediately — which is the case here — you agree at checkout that:

• Supply begins immediately upon completion of payment;
• By proceeding, you expressly consent to immediate delivery of the digital content; and
• You acknowledge that, as a result, your statutory 14-day right to cancel is lost as soon as the file is made available for download.

All digital sales are therefore final. If you experience a technical issue with delivery, write to us at hello@thesporeoracle.world and we will replace the download or refund you at our discretion.

Physical products such as the deck, prints and bookmarks are marked as “Coming soon” until they are available for purchase. Any pre-orders or back-in-stock announcements will be handled under their own specific terms at the time of sale, including the usual 14-day right of return for physical goods.

All content on this site — including the card illustrations, moon glyphs, mythology, manuscript text, design, branding, code and writing — is owned by or licensed to The Spore Patch. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, sell, modify or create derivative works from any of this content without our written permission.

You are welcome to share links to the site and to quote short passages for personal, non-commercial purposes, provided you credit The Spore Oracle and link back to the source.

The reflections, notes and spreads you save in the members' area remain yours. By saving them, you give us a limited licence to store, display and back them up so you can revisit them across the seasons. We will not publish or share your private readings without your consent.

You may delete your saved readings at any time. Deleting your account will remove the readings associated with it, subject to any legal record-keeping requirements.

You agree not to use the site to:

• Harm, harass, threaten or impersonate another person.
• Upload viruses, malware or any other harmful code.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, other users' accounts or our backend systems.
• Scrape, mine or automatedly collect data from the site without permission.
• Resell, share or otherwise exploit access to the members' area or digital products.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these rules or if necessary to protect the site or other users.

We work to keep the site accurate, secure and available, but we do not guarantee that it will always be error-free, uninterrupted or completely secure. The oracle, readings, journal and Codex content are offered as creative and reflective tools. We do not make any promise about specific outcomes, and any decisions you make based on readings are entirely your own.

The Spore Oracle is offered for reflection, contemplation and creative inspiration. It is not a substitute for medical, legal, psychological, financial or religious advice. If you are facing a serious decision or are in distress, please consult a qualified professional.

To the extent permitted by law, The Spore Patch shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential or punitive damages arising from your use of the site, including any reliance on readings or journal content. Our total liability for any claim relating to the site is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, or £100 if you did not make any payment.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the site shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, though we will always try to resolve any issue informally first.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we will notify you by email or through the site. Continued use of the site after the changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.

All original writing, mythology, glyph system, card meanings, Codex essays and design on The Spore Oracle are © 2026 The Spore Patch. The site uses the following third-party works under their respective licences:

• Cormorant Garamond, Lora and JetBrains Mono typefaces — served via Google Fonts under the SIL Open Font Licence.
• shadcn/ui and Radix UI component primitives — MIT licence.
• Lucide icons — ISC licence.

Card artwork and illustrations remain the property of their respective creators and are used by The Spore Patch under licence. If you believe any material on this site infringes your rights, please contact us and we will investigate promptly.
